Sharon Gabrukiewicz is CEO of Home Helpers, a Shasta County care-giving agency with over 300 clients and 67 employees. Her office is one of over 450 offices franchised out of Home Helpers Corporate in Cincinnati, OH. The growth her business experienced has ranked her in the top 10% of offices nationwide and internationally. Since opening in 2004, Sharon has received the "Shining Star Award" in 2004 the "Marketing Award" in 2007 and "The Spirit of Home Helpers Award" in 2008. She is an entrepreneur at heart and after opening her business over 4 years ago, has made it her mission to reach clients and families with education before a crisis. With this goal in mind, in early 2007, she partnered with Redding Radio in hosting a weekly radio show on Newstalk 1400 KQMS; "Senior Solutions". Beginning in December of 2008, Sharon also began hosting "Focus on Seniors" on AM1230 KLXR, aimed at helping the senior themselves-in search of local help and information to keep lasting independence. In addition to the two radio shows, she plans and executes two senior expo's a year, with over 40 vendors attending. Sharon regularly is asked to speak at community functions and is actively involved in numerous marketing events and organizations.
